Listen, I’m not going to beat around the bush or sugarcoat anything here. The truth is the truth and you oughta know it so that you don’t get persuaded to climb Mount Everest, or anything like that.

The truth about developing your psychic ability is that it’s not hard. Yes, that’s right…NOT hard. Some might even say downright easy. Would I? Why yes – I think I would say that!

It’s as easy as having a thought. Can you have a thought? Great, then you’re 99% of the way closer to being psychic. And I don’t need a crystal ball to tell you that. Psychic development is a thinking person’s profession, and if you can tell me what’s mulling around in that beautiful mind, then you’re in the club.

So why does it appear that you can’t get a psychic impression to save your life? Or that you can only get a psychic impression to save your life?

Easy! (The ultimate catch-22)

There’s nothing unusual or strange about knowing or sensing things.

I mean we’re all connected by way of spirit DNA. We’re all clones of the light. Different outer coverings, but the same, chewy loving energy force inside. There’s no way that you cannot be psychic. Feel me?

Yet it’s that ease that actually makes people seriously UNeasy about trusting their psychic abilities.

Thoughts are running through your head all the time. They’re going through your mind far more than they’re not going through your mind. You go to sleep and you’re still thinking. You go to meditate, and you can’t stop thinking about that callous on the bottom of your foot, or the mess you’ve gotta clean up in the bathroom.

So when a psychic impression pops in there, and it looks like every other thought, you don’t trust that it’s a psychic impression.

I liken psychic impressions to a mouse in your house. You think it’s in there because you kind of saw something out the corner of your eye. But you’re not… quite… sure. And the skeptic in you starts thinking,“Naaah. It was nothing.”

The Journey Begins With One Simple Step

If you want to become a better psychic then there’s one skill you must master.

Trust.

Gosh, just one 5 letter word. And it seems harder to do than lying still for a colonoscopy – (without the relaxation meds).

I can assure you that there’s not a professional psychic alive who doesn’t struggle with trusting what they get. Granted it gets easier to trust as time goes on. But a periodic twinge of, “Is that right?” creeps in when you least expect it.

So how do you trust a thought to be a psychic thought when it looks like a regular thought? How do you know when you’re not just making stuff up?

Well I’m going to give you a simple technique that works for me.

“Give Me What I Don’t Have”

When I’m doing a reading I tend to ask my spirit guides to supply me with visual messages. I do this because I don’t normally think in pictures. So the visual imagery tends to help me separate my own thoughts from genuine psychic impressions.

On the other hand if you’re a visual thinker, you may ask to hear your messages, instead of getting mental imagery. In this case you might get a dialogue going on in your mind – not necessarily that you’ll hear any weird voices. It just might be like a wordy story playing out.

The point of this request is that you redirect your psychic ability to a skill that’s less prevalent in your life. This way when you do receive a psychic message, you’re able to discern it more accurately, thus building your trust muscle.

Try it out on a few friends. And don’t be surprised if you notice any differences in the way the impressions are given to you. Just accept them and relay whatever new differences you experience.

How to Increase Your Psychic Prediction Ability

Even though I haven’t been to a baseball game since I was a little girl, living in Philadelphia and watching the Phillies do their thing on the diamond for the past two years has rekindled my interest in the game. So I’ve really been into the World Series battle between the New York Yankees and the Phillies. (Go Phils!)

On Monday the Phillies absolutely, positively HAD to beat the Yankees, or the Yankees would win the Series. The Phillies were ahead from the first inning, but I was leery. The Yankees are a no-nonsense team, and I knew they could snatch the turf from under the Phillies feet in the blink of an eye.

That kind of tension – watching an intense deal breaker game – makes me both nervous and agitated. So agitated in fact, that I could hardly watch the game without feeling all knotted up in my gut.

By the third inning, I tuned in psychically and asked, “Who’s going to win tonight?” I mentally got the score 6-8. I knew that the Phillies would win, and I turned the channel to Home and Garden Television, where the only source of angst is trying to guess which house they’re going to choose on House Hunters.

I can’t remember what inning I tuned back in, but the Yankees had just gotten a man on base. At that time I psychically felt the shift that this was where the Yankees would start moving up. Sure enough they did – but not enough to beat the Phillies. The final score was indeed 6-8.

Was I shocked? Yeah I was!

Just because I use my psychic ability on a daily basis doesn’t mean I don’t get tickled by my own ability. On the contrary, I’m amazed on a daily basis. That’s what makes this work so gratifying. It’s literally incredible.

But it’s not so incredible that it’s impossible for anyone to do. I say this all the time. Psychic ability isn’t some exclusive skill reserved for certain people. Although some people are better at using and trusting it than others, it is available to ALL of us.

The more you choose to become intuitively aware, the more you’re able to distinguish intuitive insights from regular thoughts. And that includes psychic predictions.

What Does a Future Prediction Feel Like?

Contrary to what the Hollywood producers put on the big screen, you don’t need a crystal ball to predict the future.

For me, a future prediction feels like a ‘slightly’ light filled sureness. There’s no thinking in between the question and what I perceive as the prediction. The question is asked, and snap… the answer is there.

My mind feels like a night light has been turned on. What I see isn’t bright. It’s ever so slightly illuminated.

But it feels sure. It feels like a puzzle piece sliding into place. Even if I attempt to rethink what I see or put in another choice, the other choice feels dull and out of place. I feel like the other choice doesn’t even belong in my mind at that time.

Now in the case of the Phillies-Yankees game you might be thinking that I just wanted the Phillies to win because I live in Philadelphia. Sure I have a hometown interest in the game. But I’m actually from the Bronx (hometown of the Yanks), and while I love Philly, I LOOOOOOVE New York. So I have a vested interest either way.

My point is that you can have a stake in the turnout of your prediction and still be right. It’s all a matter of understanding how your prediction process works.

How Can You Predict More Accurately?

1) Document your predictions. I ask a single question a day and then I write down my prediction in my journal. I also write down exactly how my body and mind feels as I come up with the prediction. This is important. Increasing your predictive ability is all about understanding how your body and mind communicates with you.

2) Watch for your personal signs. As you begin to journal your experiences, you’ll notice these body/mind signs popping up in your everyday life without you asking a question. For instance, I’ll get that mental illumination whenever I see a book that I need to buy. I may not have even looked through the book, but if I get that light in my mind, I know that it’s meant for me to have.

You’ll get these signs randomly as a confirmation that they do in fact have value. That’s why it’s vital for you to initially write them down. Recording them helps you see them at work in your everyday life.

3) Don’t ever second guess your ability. It’s easy to feel like you’re making it all up if one of your predictions turns out to be wrong.

But I can tell you right now that you are going to be wrong sometimes. And being wrong doesn’t mean that your ability is poop. It only means that free will is absolutely working.

When you make a prediction, that prediction is based on the current path that all parties involved are on. If someone or something on that path should deviate from the original direction, your prediction may become null and void. And you shouldn’t stress about that. We are having a human experience and failure is inevitable – just ask the richest people in the world.

Everybody wants to walk out of psychic reading feeling a thousand times more fulfilled than when they walked in. Unfortunately it doesn’t always happen that way – and it may have a lot to do with how you approach the experience. Your mindset and even your preparation can actually pave the way to ultimate satisfaction.

1) You’re looking for someone to give you the answer you want to hear. Whenever I meet a new guy, I always tell him that I’m not interested in a long term relationship. A lot of times the guy ends up wanting a long term relationship, and tries to convince me that I too want the same thing. Sometimes they tell me that they knew they wanted something serious, and they figured they could change my wicked ways. Ha!

This is a perfect metaphor showing why people don’t like their readings. I find that many times people come in feeling like everything is going to work out according to some stress-free plan. Unfortunately that’s not always the case.

A no B.S. psychic isn’t going to give you the fluffy bunny rabbit stuff you want to hear. Sometimes the answer you need to hear is stinky and hairy and quite ugly. A good psychic will tell you exactly what they see so that you can make informed decisions.

2) You didn’t choose a psychic with your heart. I don’t believe in choosing a psychic by comparing prices or looking at previous customer testimonials. A psychic should be chosen by feeling them out with your heart.

For example, do they make you feel comfortable when you talk to them? Do they have a similar background as you? When you read their blog or website does it resonate with your line of thinking? Look for the connection. If you don’t feel that magical click, then look somewhere else.

When you choose a psychic with your heart, the price will always be perfect for you.

3) You don’t think their advice applied to you. I gave a reading to my cousin last year. Initially I did a clairvoyant reading, and then I pulled a few tarot cards. The impressions I received were waaaaay off of her existing life. I was even kind of shocked at what I saw. So was she.

Suddenly – and I mean SUDDENLY – this year her life took a turn. Everything I saw during our reading started coming true. Knowing her previous situation, I would’ve never guessed that what I saw was coming to fruition. I mean it was like a complete 360 from what her life was like.

I learned an extremely valuable lesson from that reading. A psychic is like the person who works behind the curtain during a performance. With the light shining on you, you may not be able to see what’s going on in the audience, or even on the other side of the stage.

But a psychic has a different vantage point. They can see the other actors, they can see director, they can peer out and view the audience. Psychics have information that you may not be consciously aware of.

So it’s important that you not discount their information, even if doesn’t seem like it’s meant for you. Life changes can literally happen in the blink of an eye. Your reality today may not end up being your truth tomorrow.

Meditation Help for Those Who Hate to Meditate

Meditation… you either love it or you don’t.

Most people won’t say they hate it, but they can’t really get into the process either. You try it for a few days, and then, well, that’s it! (Sound familiar?)

I actually do meditate in the traditional way. But I also have a special meditation technique that I use when I don’t have the time to sit down and close my eyes and sit with my back straight up.

It’s a 30-second technique, and it can help you quickly change your state of mind. I explain the technique in my new e-book The No Closing Your Eyes, No Sitting Quietly Meditation Technique.

It’s a FREE download and it’ll only take you a few minutes to grasp the concept.

Enjoy it!

How to Be Your Own Business Intuitive

I love reading for my clients. But I don’t want to give you the impression that it’s the only way to get answers. We all have intuitive abilities. We’re all psychic at some point. And you – yes you – can be your own business intuitive.

A business intuitive is someone who gives you information that’s centered around your business or career. Whether you’re self employed, freelancing or even a CFO, intuitive information can give you an edge. But it doesn’t have to come from me. While I enjoy serving my clients, I also want you to feel comfortable in using your own intuitive abilities.

Futuristic Man

So What’s the Key to Success?

The same thing that’s necessary for any intuitive process to work… be open to it. Acknowledge that you have what it takes to get what you want. Feel it in your heart. Let it shimmy in your tummy. Know that you know.

And then complete the following steps.

1) Decide what you want to know. The Universe is always responding to our questions. ALWAYS! You ask a question and you’re going to get an answer. Whether it’s the answer you want to hear is debatable, but you are going to get a response. So if you want a clear answer, ask a clear question.

If you book an appointment with me, I make you get crystal clear on what you want to know before I give you an answer. When you’re reading for yourself, I suggest you get a blank journal that you can write your questions down in.

Thinking your questions gives you a one dimensional view. Seeing your questions on paper simply provides better clarity when you’re reading for yourself. Try it, you’ll see.

2) Meditate on your question. If you find it difficult to quiet your mind, try listening to a meditation CD. I like the Awakened Mind System by Jeffrey Thompson. Thompson has published several meditation CDs, but I like this one because you can listen to it while you’re working, or you can simply close your eyes and relax.

Give yourself 30 minutes with this CD to feel your way through your question. What images arise in your mind? Are there any words or phrases that repeat themselves? What people do you see? What message do you think you’re receiving?

3) Write down everything you get from your meditation. This is the important part. I don’t want you to judge anything. Simply write down whatever you get from your meditation. It doesn’t matter if it’s silly or seemingly doesn’t apply to your situation. Just write it down in your journal.

4) Interpret it. Once you’ve gotten everything down on paper you can begin to decipher what it all means. In fact, you’ll probably begin to notice certain patterns. And that’s the beauty of writing it all down.

Words have more power than mental hashing. The written word gives you the visual cues that you’d otherwise miss.

For example, let’s say you were watching the news the other night and a story played about a rabid poodle biting a man on a jogging trail. During your meditation that news story suddenly pops into your mind. Let’s say it comes up several times, despite your best efforts to not think about it. This—believe it or not—is an intuitive message.

If I were interpreting it, I’d see the poodle as a victim of circumstance. He’s not being vicious because he’s a blood thirsty creature. He’s got a rabies infection and he can’t control himself. The fact that he bites a jogger simply means that an innocent person (the jogger) has gotten caught in the crossfire.

So if a client were asking about the future of his position within a company, I’d be inclined to think that he was going to get caught in the crossfire of a situation that he had nothing to do with. He’d be bitten, so to speak, by a superior who may have gotten infected with bad information. Of course it could also mean that he’s going to be rabid on someone else who doesn’t deserve it. It all depends on the situation.

When interpreting your images and words, you literally have to go with what you feel is right. Sometimes you see something and – boom – it just clicks. When that happens… when you feel that click… you know you’re on the right track.
