Yesterday I channeled another message from Caroline.

The question I asked her was related to what’s going on in my life right now. You’ll find the message quite  appropriate for understanding what you must begin to do and to see to take advantage of the multitude of opportunities that present themselves to you.

Enjoy!

This is not complicated. Definitely not as complicated as you might think it is.  Perception, oh perception, it can be tricky from the vantage point to which you sit.

You are sitting on top of a huge mountain. You are sitting on the peak. And yet because of its height you may be afraid to turn around. From the peak you only look down at what’s in front of you. And so you only see things from that single angle.

That does not change the fact that you can see everything going on around you that will benefit you. It only means that you have made a choice to look down and see that one section in front of you.

Stand up! Turn around! Look at the vast view the Universe has given you. Look to your left. Look to your right. You will begin to notice things that you may not have seen or given much attention to in the past.

That is how you advance your situation. You advance your view. You make a choice to observe that which may you may have not observed in the past.  In this way you can be led to putting ideas together.

For you this may mean taking on projects and assignments that may seem contradictory to what you’ve done in the past.  This might mean taking a completely different approach to the way you handled your business in the past.

The direction that you currently look in is quite boring to you. It feels like work. When work didn’t feel like work you were able to advance. And you were able to do so quickly and easily. Everything slid into place for good reason.

At that time you had gotten up and changed your position while sitting on the peak of the mountain.  That’s why it all flowed for you as quickly as it did.

And now it’s time again to rise up. To turn around, to look left, to look right, to look up, to look behind you. To see it all. Not just taking it in from the single vantage point.

Once you do, the path to everything you desire will become abundantly clear for you. Everything will begin to click. Like the puzzle pieces finally sliding into place. And the work becoming like play again.

ZenWater

As you may recall from my last post, I recently began channeling a nun. A nun who, upon our second session together, referred to me as a healer, and told me that my words would heal the people who needed to hear or read them.

Well there’s a reason why I believe she revealed this information to me. And that reason applies to almost everybody reading this blog.

Zen

The other day I was giving a reading to a woman who had a lot going on in her life. There were issues with relationships… issues with her health… issues with choosing a life path. Emotionally her energy felt all over the place.

I went about giving her information about these various issues in her life.

But I kept telling her that I felt like there was one itty-bitty issue that was stunting her growth. I intuitively saw it as a flea penetrating a small, open space in her armor. Once it got in it was making her itch – so to speak – in many parts of her life.

Midway into the reading I started seeing the word “Zen” in my mind. I saw symbols that to me represented the concept of Zen.

I stopped my client from talking and told her that I was getting a very important message. And then I told her, “It’s Zen.”

“To me,” I explained, “Zen basically represents a state of quiet mind.”

And with that she breathed a sigh of relief.

Silence was a concept that she’d been trying to embrace for a long time. Unfortunately her conscious mind kept telling her that it wasn’t necessary. So even though she felt like quieting her mind was important, she never truly put her heart in it.

My vision helped her see the flea that had gotten into her armor. And now she was prepared to handle it.

Your destiny is in the details

When I got off the call I thought about the smallness of her message, and the magnitude of its meaning to her.

It was very much like the nun telling me that I was a healer. Such a tiny piece of information – yet so dead on for my particular situation.

And that brings me full circle to what this means for your own life.

We often see change as requiring some kind of big, sweeping motion. But that’s not necessarily the way it has to be. I’m growing to see that the foundation for even the BIGGEST changes in our lives can be as simple as acknowledging a seemingly minor detail.

For my client it was “quiet.” For me it was “healing.” For you it might be “comfort” or even “exclusive.”

The point is, pay attention to what looks like the little details in your life. If you’re receiving a reading, don’t allow your mind to glaze over what you perceive as an insignificant point.

Spirit will often wrap the most shocking revelations in the teeniest of boxes.

To my great surprise, I recently learned how to do channeling.

And in case you’re wondering what channeling is, it’s when you go into a deep meditation and allow a spirit guide to communicate through you. You may speak their words, or write them. (I spoke.)

One of the most popular channelers today is Esther Hicks. She channels a spirit guide named Abraham, and their main theme is the Law of Attraction.

Now I say “to my great surprise” because I’ve never been totally interested in learning how to channel. After all, I’d already been communicating with my spirit guides for over a decade, what could channeling offer me?

It offered me a lot, actually…

For a few months now I’ve been bumping into a spirit guide who looks like a nun.

I mainly feel her presence when I’m applying healing energy to one of my daughters many boo-boo’s. She stands behind me in a solemn prayerful position, helping me direct the healing energy properly.

In fact, when she initially came around, I thought for sure it was a sign that I was to become a healer. I even journaled about it, questioning my inner self, “Am I really to become a healer? I thought I was meant to give readings.”

It was a bittersweet entry. I enjoy healing, but I love readings.

On the other hand, sometimes the Universe is trying to ever-so-gently show us our intended path – which is why I took the appearance of the nun so seriously. Was this a sign of another shift in my life?

Yes and no

When I did the channeling, the nun was the spirit guide who came through. I relaxed, cleared my mind of any preconceived notions, and felt her warm energy.

And then her message began…

Apparently we’ve known each other in spirit form for many centuries. I was once a nun in France and that’s when she and I became familiar with each other.

As a nun I loved God, but I also believed and engaged in many esoteric topics as well. Which is probably why I enjoy solitude, quiet time and esoteric topics so much in this lifetime.

She went on to say that I am indeed a healer in this lifetime.

Aaaack! My rational mind thought…

Here it was – the big lowering of the boom on my head! Or so I thought.

She went on to explain that I was a healer through my words. The words that I write (because I am a writer by trade) were to be a healing force in many, many lives.

My words would offer transformation. They would help others to find themselves. They could heal – if I allowed them to.

I understood her message completely.

I’d always looked at healing as a physical act. Your body is ill, you take or do something to get better, and your body gets better.

But healing, in its purest form, is all about change. Changing from a place of pain or confusion to one of peace and clarity.

It’s not necessarily a physical occurrence. And if you’re called to be a healer, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re supposed to be a doctor or a Reiki practitioner.

For example, you can help heal someone’s self esteem by offering them a kind comment. You can heal a rift by forgiving. Or you can provide healing to a situation by simply walking away from it.

Why the nun said what she said – this is important

To be continued in my next entry…
